Backroom Brewery has been a working 10-acre farm brewery and event venue in Middletown, Virginia since 2016 — at the northern gateway to the Shenandoah Valley, minutes from I-81 and I-66, an easy hour from Washington DC and Northern Virginia.

Wedding & Event Venue

The same timber-framed barn that's hosted hundreds of celebrations — refreshed and ready for yours. Up to 250 guests, indoor and outdoor ceremony space, full bar, on-site coordination, and the Massanutten as your backdrop. Bookings open soon.

Taproom & Brewery

Virginia's first farm brewery, brewing 25+ award-winning recipes with hops and herbs grown on the property. Wood-fired pizza kitchen, dog-friendly patio, family-friendly atmosphere. A natural stop after Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, or the Appalachian Trail.

Company retreats from DC and Northern Virginia, holiday parties, birthdays, rehearsal dinners. Flexible indoor-outdoor spaces, custom catering, brewery tours, and an unforgettable atmosphere. 60 minutes from downtown DC and Tysons Corner.

Find us in the Shenandoah Valley Backroom Brewery sits in Warren County, Virginia — surrounded by Winchester, Front Royal, Strasburg, and Stephens City. We're a natural stop for visitors heading to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Cedar Creek Battlefield, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Massanutten. From DC, take I-66 West; from Northern Virginia, I-81 South. The Shenandoah Beerwerks Trail runs right through our taproom.
